The Global Adolescent Nutrition Network (GANN) has a new logo which represents the GANN’s mission and principles.
What do the three symbols signify?
- Network and Connection: the GANN is made up of 250 members including researchers, academics, programmers, government representatives, donors, and UN agencies, who collaborate to identify and fill research gaps in the field of adolescent nutrition.
- Global Reach: the globe highlights GANN's global impact and underscores the significance of adolescent nutrition on a universal scale.
- Nutritional Focus: the GANN's primary focus is nutrition, food security and development, therefore the wheat symbol not only indicates the food needed for people to survive but it's importance for adolescents to grow healthily.
