Kate Sadler

Senior Technical Associate

Kate is a public nutritionist with over 25 years of experience in the design, management, evaluation and research of nutrition programming in Africa and Asia. She has worked as a program nutritionist in Africa and for the past 15+ years has worked in global policy/programme technical support and applied research in the area of nutrition and food security, largely in the context of humanitarian response. Kate has been a technical associate with ENN since 2019. In Nov-2024 she joined ENN for 12 months (maternity cover) as a senior technical associate and the portfolio lead for infant and young child feeding in emergencies (IFE) and management of small and at-risk infants under 6 months and their mother's (MAMI) projects. In previous roles she has overseen the operations of an applied research organization, worked as an assistant professor at post-graduate level and has managed multisectoral teams and projects in international nutrition. She also has a PhD in nutrition and was an integral part of the team responsible for the multi-country research on which the adoption of the community-based management of acute malnutrition was based.
