ENN attended the World Public Health Nutrition Congress 2024 hosted by the World Public Health Nutrition Association from the 10th to the 13th June in London. As well as manning our stall, we really enjoyed attending the sessions presented by our networks. These included:
- Alessandro lellamo, senior emergency nutrition advisor at FHI360 and member of the IFE Core Group Steering Committee, presenting 3 sessions: "Health and nutrition in emergencies", "Improving infant and young child nutrition", and "Why food and health should not be used as weapons of war".
- Dr Melkamu Berhane Arefayine, the principal investigator for ENN's project Stronger evidence towards future scale up: Randomised Controlled Trial in Ethiopia (MAMI RISE), presenting 2 sessions: "Health systems delivering optimum nutrition" and "Global Nutrition Targets and Primary Health Care".
- Sara Estecha Querol, public health and nutrition researcher at the MENTOR initiative and member of the Global Adolescent Nutrition Network (GANN) Core Group, presenting "Developing Community-Led Nutrition Solutions".
