MAMI Connections
With the MAMI Global Network, we have achieved so much together but still have lots to do.
We are stronger and more effective together. Our MAMI Communication Guide and MAMI Strategy share much common ground with many nutrition and health initiatives. We welcome collaboration and our online groups and country networks help support at local level through the following fora:
Meets online monthly to provide practitioners and implementation researchers with a friendly forum for discussion and peer-to-peer support.
This francophone group meets online every two months to discuss issues, challenges and facilitate peer-to-peer support and learning among those working in West Africa and other French contexts.
Emerging country-led communities of practice on MAMI that are connected to the MAMI Global Network for learning exchange and mutual support. Our commitments to support country-led MAMI scale up are to:
- Actively expand our network to include country representation across disciplines, sectors and contexts.
- Support national MAMI champions and researchers and amplify national voices in international fora.
- Engage with national academic institutions in low- and middle-income countries to support research and build mutual learning on small and nutritionally at risk infants and their mothers.
- Share country learning through our newsletter and online group
MAMI Global Network members are on standby to address critical urgent guidance gaps that emerge through the technical arm of the Global Nutrition Cluster (GNC). Further technical assistance, including deployments are available through the Global Nutrition Cluster.
